My mom-in-law and I are here relaxing on the couch.  I am tired but, in a good way! My mom and I just I went to the Dr., had some lunch, physical therapy and gave some blood.

I will have glasses soon because I need some eye therapy.  I guess I need therapy for everything. LOL

My Doctors think there is evidence showing a new drug may extend my life since the Lung Transplant isn't an option.  Pray for me as I continue the journey of healing and possibly new therapy.

hope

Written by Mom

It's been a long time since I've updated Lisa's situation:
We drove back and forth to Seattle sometimes 2, to 3 doctors a day then to return the following for last three months to the University for testing and blood work. It's been extremely exhausting for Lisa, Joey, and I for the possible lung transplant.  She was denied the transplant for the reasons that they feel she would not be able to survive it. She cried!

Lisa still continues physical therapy once/twice a week and show improvement.  It's hard to not be able to do anything for her when this happens and I feel so helpless even though she just wants me to be there and to pray.

We look forward to our faith in God to carry us through and to heal her since we believe that God is more than able to do this. I know she relies on all your prayers and so do I. She still needs financial support for all the bills are rolling in... Thank you so much!!

Love,  Mom

GOD... Help

Mom and I went to the University for an MRI and a lung function test today.   I started with the MRI and it was hard for me.  I had to lay down on my back it was difficult to breathe and it was so hard.  Then I had some breakfast and did some shopping.  Then we did the lung function exam (PFT).  My lung test: 22% capacity.  Then we came home and I'm so exhausted! Dr. Edleman will let us know if i qualify for a lung transplant next week after reviewing all the information.

Messsage, Ps 30. I give you all the credit God- you got me of that mess,.. God, my God, I yelled for help and you put me together...

Thank you for supporting me through prayers, purchasing my cards and books and donations.  The books can only be purchased though me or my family because my website is not working.  If you want to donate you can go to the NTAF web, type VOLZ get a tax write off.

Love to all,
Lisa and Mom
